Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Auto?

Auto is an AI trading agent that executes crypto trades, manages portfolios, runs market research, and monitors positions across seven blockchain networks. Auto operates through natural language — you describe what you want and Auto handles the execution, including swaps, bridges, lending, perp trading, prediction markets, and automated monitoring.

How Much Does Auto Cost?

Auto sponsors gas fees on six of seven supported chains (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana). The only chain where you pay gas directly is HyperEVM, which requires HYPE tokens. Trading fees depend on the specific venue and market conditions — Hyperliquid, CoW Protocol, Jupiter, and Polymarket each have their own fee structures.

Is Auto Safe?

Auto uses a secure embedded wallet setup through Privy. You do not manage seed phrases or browser extensions. Every transaction requires your intent through chat — Auto proposes actions and waits for your confirmation before executing. Scheduled tasks are read-only and never move funds automatically.

What Chains Does Auto Support?

Auto supports seven blockchain networks: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana, and HyperEVM. Each chain has different capabilities for swaps, bridges, lending, and limit orders. See the Chain Reference for full details.

What Protocols Does Auto Support?

Auto integrates with multiple protocols across DeFi, trading, and prediction markets:

Category
Protocols

Swaps

0x, CoW Protocol, Relay, Jupiter

Bridges

Relay, Across, CoW Protocol, 0x

Lending

Aave V3 (5 chains), Morpho (vaults and markets)

Perps

Hyperliquid (perps, spot, TWAP)

Prediction Markets

Polymarket

Limit Orders

CoW Protocol (EVM), Jupiter Trigger (Solana)

Tokenized Stocks

xStocks, Ondo, Dinari

Do I Need Gas Tokens to Use Auto?

Gas is sponsored on six of seven chains. Most swaps, transfers, bridges, and Solana transactions cost you nothing in gas fees. HyperEVM is the exception — you need HYPE tokens for gas on that chain.

Why Did My Swap Fail?

Most swap failures are caused by insufficient balance, routing issues, token restrictions, or provider errors — not gas problems. Ask Auto to inspect the failed transaction for a specific diagnosis.

Can Auto Bridge Between EVM and Solana?

Yes. Auto supports bridging between all EVM chains (except HyperEVM) and Solana in both directions.

"Bridge 300 USDC to Solana"

Does Auto Support Hyperliquid Trading?

Yes. Auto supports the full Hyperliquid surface: market data, perp trading, spot trading, funding, TP/SL management, TWAP execution, deposits, withdrawals, and position monitoring.

How Does Funding Hyperliquid Work?

Auto moves USDC into your Hyperliquid account by routing through Arbitrum. It handles the chain plumbing automatically — you describe the funding amount and Auto executes the deposit. If you lack sufficient margin for a trade, Auto can fund your account before placing the order.

What Fees Should I Expect on Hyperliquid?

Hyperliquid withdrawals to Arbitrum have a $1 fee. Moving USDC from HyperCore to HyperEVM uses a separate no-fee path. Trading fees depend on the venue, your maker/taker status, and current market conditions.

Can Auto Create Price Alerts?

Yes. Price alerts are one of five built-in task types in the scheduling system.

"Alert me when BTC hits $100,000"

Does Auto Support Limit Orders?

Yes. Auto places limit orders using CoW Protocol on Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum, and Jupiter Trigger on Solana. If the chain is ambiguous, Auto asks which chain you want.

Can I Place Stop-Loss Style Orders?

Auto supports price-conditional order flows through the advanced order system. Describe the condition in plain language and Auto sets it up.

Can Auto Trade on Polymarket?

Yes. Polymarket trading happens on Polygon using USDC. Auto handles setup, approvals, buying shares, selling shares, managing open orders, and tracking positions.

Can I Provide Liquidity on Polymarket?

Yes. Auto supports Polymarket liquidity provision, including two-sided quoting, token splitting, token merging, and reward tracking.

What Is Polymarket LP Good For?

Polymarket LP is a market-making mechanism for event markets. You quote both YES and NO sides, monitor open orders, and potentially earn liquidity rewards on eligible markets.

Can Auto Trade Stocks?

Yes. Auto browses, prices, and trades tokenized equities through xStocks, Ondo, and Dinari across Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum. Auto also runs full technical analysis (RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, multi-timeframe) on 523+ US stocks and supports leveraged perp futures on stocks and commodities through Hyperliquid Builder DEX.

What Technical Analysis Does Auto Support?

Auto runs a full indicator suite including RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Supertrend, ADX, multi-timeframe analysis, candlestick pattern detection, and volatility profiles. Technical analysis works on both crypto tokens and 523+ US stocks.

Can Auto Monitor My Portfolio Automatically?

Yes. Portfolio checks are one of five built-in task types. Auto runs them on your schedule and reports changes.

"Check my portfolio every morning and tell me what changed"

Can Scheduled Tasks Trade Automatically?

No. Scheduled tasks are strictly read-only — they monitor, alert, research, and remind. They never move funds or execute transactions automatically. Every trade requires your explicit confirmation.

Can Auto Pause or Cancel a Task?

Yes. Pausing stops a task temporarily and keeps it saved. Canceling removes it permanently.

"Pause task 2"

"Resume my BTC alert"

"Cancel my daily market briefing"

Can Auto Use Native ETH Directly for DeFi Deposits?

Not always. Some protocol flows (Aave, Morpho) require WETH rather than native ETH. When this applies, Auto guides you through wrapping ETH to WETH before depositing.

What Should I Do If a Bridge Seems Stuck?

Ask Auto to check the bridge status. Auto tracks transfers using the bridge provider and order details from the original transaction. Checking status through Auto is more reliable than guessing from wallet balances.

Does Auto Support All Chains Where a Token Exists?

No. A token may appear in metadata across many chains, but Auto only executes transactions on its seven supported networks: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana, and HyperEVM.

Does Auto Support Referral Codes?

Yes. Auto generates and displays your personal referral code and tracks your referral progress, points, streaks, and leaderboard rank.

"get my referral code"

How Does Auto Handle Multi-Step Requests?

Auto executes complex workflows from a single message by chaining steps in sequence — research, then recommend, then execute. Auto carries context across conversation turns, so follow-up messages like "buy the strongest one" or "do that on Base" resolve correctly from earlier context.

What Market Research Can Auto Do?

Auto provides token prices, charts, trending assets, category analysis, global crypto overview, new listings, on-chain analytics (smart money tracking, token flows, holder analysis via Nansen), social intelligence (Twitter/X search, CT sentiment), and general web search for crypto news.

What DeFi Analytics Does Auto Provide?

Auto covers protocol TVL, yield rates, historical trends, protocol fees and revenue, DEX volume analysis, stablecoin supply and flow analytics, and exchange intelligence (flow data, reserve tracking, whale alerts).

How Many Tasks Can I Schedule?

Auto supports up to 20 active scheduled tasks per user. Each task type has a minimum interval to prevent excessive polling.
